Harry Potter Custom Ecommerce Checkout Process

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was created as a two-part show. With this, there were a number of unique requirements and possible paths for customers to go down to purchase tickets to the show. The customer needed to be able to:

  • Buy both parts on the same or consecutive days

  • Buy one part at a time​

  • Buy both parts at once, but not on the same or consecutive days

The business needed to be able to:

  • Control which inventory was available for all the possible purchase paths

  • Tie into the existing ticketing/ecommerce software

  • Brand the entire experience to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

These unique needs led to the the development of a completely customized checkout experience that allowed the customer to move through the process quickly.
